The image above is a view of the Vendavo Autosegmentation app that I worked on. As a way to successfully display large clusters of segmentation data, the primary view is a “canvas” that uses SVG (D3.js) to create a tree with 4 distinct zoom levels.
During my 5 month contract at Vendavo (Aug – Nov 2015), my main focus was the user experience of a new enterprise SaaS application (building segmentation models that inform price guidance and maximize margins). One of my primary tasks was creating “wrapper” components in React.js with markup and CSS (Sass) in order to ensure the UX was implemented correctly before committing them to the code base for the Engineering team to build out.
As a member of the UX team, I had the opportunity to contribute to persona creation, research, design sprints, the collaborative vision planning workshop, and an incredible team building event, a guided “foodie tour” of San Francisco’s Little Italy and China Town.
